Why 168?
The name 168 originally came about as we were searching for a way to describe our dedication to our clients. Since our business is the internet our name needed to reflect the "always on" idea that is the internet. If you multiply 24x7 you get 168 and that is our commitment to your business. Whether you need hosting, service, support or advice 168 will be there for you.
Here are some other reasons why we (may have) chose to name our business after a number:
God created the world in exactly 168 hours. (Not that we have a God complex)
Our heart beats over 100,000 times daily to move blood 168 million miles around our body.
The shows The Rifleman (1958-1963), Hogan's Heroes (1965-1971), Mary Tyler Moore, (1970-1977) and The Practice (1997-2004) all ran for exactly 168 episodes.
The pronunciation of 168 in Chinese is yuk lo bat which sounds like yuk lo fat which means on the road to prosperity.
There is a restaurant 168 just off Keeaumoku Street near Ala Moana in Honolulu Hawaii. (We dream of going there)
If you search for the number 168 on Google you get 37,800,000 responses.

Regarding the Alpha Romeo 168: With a potential sales crisis looming and their reputation in jeopardy, Alfa's Hong Kong-savvy sales representatives made an unprecedented move and quickly cabled Fiat management for permission to substitute the much-maligned 164 emblem with one now marked 168. The number 168 is perhaps the luckiest in all of Hong Kong as it is similar to the word for prosperity and wealth (a single license plate bearing the number 8 was once auctioned off to a private owner for more than one million U.S. dollars). Therefore, what was originally one of the worst rear insignias imaginable instantly became one of the best: 168 means "the more you go the more prosperous you'll be." Thus the 164, or 168, was rescued from certain "death" and continues to be one of Alfa Romeo's most popular automobiles.
